The “real causes“

of the conflict in the Middle East

Some people worry the Temple-Project would not take into account „the real causes" of the conflict.

As I see it, the conflict in the Middle East is a typical conflict of the type "I am right, you are wrong". And the best remedy for such conflicts is to raise one's perspective to a higher level, to the level where both can be right.

The level of this higher perspective commonly is known as the level of spirituality (the level of "religion" often remains on the lower "I am right, you are wrong" level, as you can see in this conflict). Therefore it needs a symbol both parties can agree on. Both (or all three - the Christians also) go back to their common father Abraham and his surrender - so let all three parties surrender to the spirit he believed in and manifest this belief in a structure of mutual respect: something like the Temple-Project.
